quinoa veggie beet impossible burger

There is nothing like a good burger—a plant-based burger that is! I know many of you love a grilled burger during summer gatherings, but once in a while it’s great to try something new.

This quinoa and veggies beet burger creation uses a base of Impossible plant-based burgers and builds from there. I have added chopped onions, peppers, cooked quinoa, and powdered beets for more color and nutrients.

You can use your favorite condiments too, and I always put my burgers on Dave’s Killer Bread “Burger Buns Done Right” for a more wholesome flavor. So delicious!

Notes

Melissa's Modifications: This is the best burger creation I have ever made! The texture and flavor is great. You may even forget you are not eating meat! Beyond Meat will work just as well as Impossible Burgers. Use the ground package, not the crumbles, as crumbles do not stay together as well in a burger. Forgo the bun to save some calories and carbs and enjoy the quinoa veggie beet burger with all the fixings in a lettuce wrap instead. Fold your patty into a leaf of romaine or iceberg lettuce.
