Power of 5 Life 012122

We have some exciting news! We are changing our company name to Power of 5 Life!

Since its inception, our website, DavidBernsteinMD.com, has been one of our vehicles to provide you with information on a plethora of topics related to health, wellness and longevity.

A Look Back

The 2012 release of I’ve Got Some Good News and Some Bad News YOU’RE OLDwas the start of that intention. As we edited and published this work together, it was clear this was just the beginning for us … not just joining our lives, but of a true partnership of thoughts and pursuits.

With the 2017 release of The Power of 5: The Ultimate Formula for Longevity and Remaining Youthful, and the complimentary tracking Journal for Health & Wellness, we have furthered our engagement in our mission.

Melissa began putting her years of cooking into writing a food blog in 2014, incorporating healthy eating strategies. Then in 2019, we formally called our kitchen The Power of 5 Test Kitchen. The culmination of our efforts led the way for Melissa to release her first cookbook, The Power of 5 Test Kitchen Cookbook ~ Caregiver Edition, published in 2021. We are now fully immersed in sharing 80 years of combined clinical, health and nutrition experience with everyone.

Exciting Changes Ahead

Our new company name, Power of 5 Life, is most representative of the realm of our collaborative efforts. We intend to continue teaching and writing with a focus on our blended messages of GRACE and The Power of 5 Formula.

Our messages are simple yet incredibly important: Get MORE Sleep, Sweat and Socialization (Sex) and LESS Stress and Sweets (sugar, carbohydrates).

As we transform to our new name Power of 5 Life, we are grateful to you and encourage you to continue reading and enjoying our blogs, recipes and messages. We appreciate all your comments and shares so your friends and family can benefit from the helpful guidance toward living a Power of 5 Life.

We strive to inspire you to tap into YOUR Power of 5 so you can say … “I am living a Power of 5 Life!”

We appreciate you and are grateful each day for your support.

To a Long and Healthy Life Full of Healthy Cooking and Eating,

David Bernstein, MD & Melissa Bernstein, OT, FAOTA
